According to the BATFE, Nevada has lost its NICS Exemption, due to the failure of AB-21 in the 2007 Legislative session. Conjecture is that AB-21 failed due to the fee increase, which would have prompted a Veto by Governor Jim Gibbons had it passed.
As of the 2008 CCW conference that was held in Carson City, NV, the NSCA is actively seeking the restoration of the NICS exemption by the BATFE.
We are working on a history of the NICS Exemption, along with the recent events surrounding the loss of this Exemption.

The Stillwater Firearms Association meets the second Wednesday of each month, 7:30 p.m. at the Fallon American Legion hall, 90 N Ada Street.
