SFA Hosts Dinner Event
June 26, 2010. A sold out crowd of 180 Stillwater Firearms Association members and guests enjoyed a wonderful meal of chicken cordon bleu and beef tri tip prepared by the Fallon Eagles Lodge, followed by a most entertaining and moving speech delivered by honored speaker District Attorney Arthur Mallory.
In addition to 19 raffled firearms, a door prize raffle was conducted for female attendees. Donating special gifts for the ladies were: Openshaw Saddlery, Doreen's Desert Rose Florist, Patrice Marvel of Bellissima Salon and Day Spa, Eclipse Salon, Ambiance Salon and Spa, Sue Adams, and Premier Pawnbrokers.
“This was another superb dinner event,” said SFA President Elynda Long. “The SFA Board of Directors extends sincere thanks to honored speaker Art Mallory, event chairman Jimmie Ross, decorating committee Sue Adams and Bill Sharp, raffle chairman Bill Andrews, and everyone who worked to make this a wonderful event. We are already looking forward to the next dinner!”
Stillwater Firearms Association, with 650 plus members, was incorporated in 1979 as a Nevada nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting public interest, skill and safety in the use of firearms, target shooting and social recreation for its members as well as the public at large.
